“Our goal is to simplify the financial planning process so our clients can easily understand and feel comfortable with what others find as confusing and frustrating.”
Matt was raised in a military family where structure and creed were of utmost importance, and integrity defined one’s character. With his father in the Air Force, their family frequently relocated. Although he was born overseas, he has spent most of his life here in Texas. Matt graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning his B.A. in Business Management from Northwood University. Before entering Financial Services, he honed his management skills while returning profitability to struggling departments within some of the finest hotels & private clubs.
For almost a decade Matt has been providing suitable, unbiased financial advice to his clients and in 2009 founded Retirement Plan Management. Because of his passion for his client’s success he created (k)vise to provide professional 401(k) planning for companies and their participants. (k)vise gives personal assistance in building and managing individual portfolios within a company’s 401(k) plan.
Matt has earned the distinction of the Certified Financial Planner, CFP® designation, he is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Transamerica Financial Advisors (TFA), Inc., he holds FINRA Licenses of Series 6, 7, 63, 66, and also has a Group 1 general lines license with the Texas Department of Insurance.
Matt married his wife Brooke in 2000. After meeting her he immediately knew she was the one, so confident he asked her to marry him on their first date. Her response, “Let’s just wait and see.” She must not have needed much convincing because she accepted his more formal proposal just six months later. They reside in Fort Worth and have two daughters, Rylee (9) and Kellyn (5). His spare time is primarily spent with his family; however he also enjoys hobbies of golf, cycling, boutique wines and the nostalgia of automobiles both old & new. Brooke is a licensed Realtor with RE/MAX Trinity of Fort Worth and Matt says, “If you need Real Estate guidance in purchasing or selling a home then look no further than Brooke.” You can reach Brooke by phone at (817) 808-1551, and online at BuyDFWwithBrooke.com or Zillow.com.
